    How to Choose the Right Pen or Pencil Kit

    When choosing the right pen or pencil kit, you should consider several factors. The first (and probably most obvious) thing to consider is the design, style and color of the pen kit. You should decide whether you prefer the sleek profile of a slimline or fancy pen or the bold feel of a cigar or rollerball pen. Always check if the bushings are included with the kits you are considering buying. Many times, the bushings will need to be purchased separately. You should also keep in mind the tube size, as this will determine which size drill bit will be needed. The most common tube sizes include 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 3/8" and 27/64" - but there are also other, less popular sizes as well.

    Also keep in mind the type of refill your pen kit takes. Different kits use different style refills. Ballpoint pens typically use either Cross-style or Parker-style refills, while rollerball pens use Schmidt-style refills for smoother writing. Fountain pens use ink cartridges or converters, while mechanical pencils use refillable lead.
