nice tool rest
Needed a 1" post long enough for my powermatic 3520. This fits correctly, and is much nicer than the OEM that came with the lathe. Smoother finish, more comfortable hand rest, much harder top edge with the hard steel bar welded on. The Powermatic is soft cast iron. While this does mean it can easily be cleaned up with a file, it also means that it regularly needs to be cleaned up! This Robust has stayed smooth so far.
