Oneway Live Center, MT#2
I appreciate being able to buy the basic live center, without the cones and large pins. I wasn't impressed by the appearance of the center's surface nor the presence of some dings on the cup and threads. I called and spoke with a very nice person who went and opened some packages (new) of the same center. She reported that the surface appearance was similar to mine and there appeared to be some dings on these (new from Oneway). I chose to keep mine. Cleaned the surface grunge with some alcohol and filed back the more obvious dings. So, good service and a "good" price from The Woodturning Store, but disappointed in the finish quality of the Oneway center. They're reputed to be a quality company, so hope this was a fluke.
