Legacy Cigar Pen Kits are great for those who like a heavier writing instrument. They are easy to make and are often a next step up from the Slimline pens. We recommend Cigar pen kits for turners who are just starting out because the techniques and skills learned to create them can be easily transferred to other turning projects. Cigar pen kits have double twist mechanisms that accept Parker style refills. Offered in a large variety of finishes.

Cigar pen kits
I have literally made hundreds of these with very few problems. If I do have a problem ( ie missing part) woodturning store is quick to remedy.

Beautiful kit, clip needs an adjustment
When I got this kit, I was amazed at how dark the gun metal accents were. Thought I was sent the basic 24K gold kit by mistake, till I compared this one with my gold kits. Be aware that the gun metal is dark, but looks so good when finished. The pocket clip sits further away from the blank then I like. So I wrap the pen and clip with in a soft cloth or suede, then I use a pair of pliers to tighten it up. Guess they expect you to turn the blank pretty thick. No big deal. Used Bethlehem Olive wood on this kit and it turned out amazing! Gold and Gun metal sure look good with the colors in the Olivewood. Can't wait to give it as a gift to my mother in-law. I know she will like it. Think I'll be buying more of this kit.
