Corrections On My Previous Review
I reviewed this spur drive after visual inspection without using it. I was totally incorrect. The center pin IS spring loaded, and retracts into the center making this tool much better than I thought before. My apologies for any confusion I may have caused. This is a fantastic spur drive.

Solid Value
The center point on this spur drive is not "spring loaded" to retract like on a Nova drive center. This is not a feature that mattered to me. This well made Hurricane drive center is over twenty dollars cheaper than the Nova. The center point is held in with a set screw. This may make it adjustable, but I like it just as it came. The teeth on the outer edge are directional, and dig in when turning in the standard counter-clockwise rotation. Good MT2 taper fit.

Drive center
Great drive center and very reasonably priced. I bought a few different ones for my new lathe setup
