HURRICANE, HTT-248AKW, M2 CRYO 3/8" BEDAN
HURRICANE, HTT-248AKW, M2 CRYO 3/8" BEDAN 2022-03-28 I'm a fan of these HURRICANE M2 cyro tools - I can't afford the best yet but these are 20x better than my ordinary HSS tools. (Now have 5 cyros from TheWoodturningStore). Delivery is speedy and quite acceptable. Pro: A great bargain, especially if on sale. The M2 Cryo does indeed hold an edge longer - the hype is true. This bedan came sharp and cuts well. The handle is well finished but seems a bit light at first use. I got used to the same handle on their 3/4" skew. You'll also appreciate the angled side and not fear the tool 'jamming' as you make a deep cut. Con: The finish on the steel needs some fine tuning - the square corners need to be relieved - they're too sharp for skin and I also fear they can dent my tool rests.

Hurricane Cryo Bedan
I use this for making quick work of turning down spindles, making tenons, or grooves. It holds an edge well, the overall length seems to be just right
