Bowl gouge
This is my second cryo gouge. I so enjoyed the durability of the cutting edge on my bottom feeder I knew I needed a cryo side grind bowl gouge but decided o a 5/8” dia. Unfortunately the cutting edge was compromised in shipping and so I had to sharpen it immediately. It seems fine but a vacation has interrupted further use until the end of the month.

Hurrican 5/5" Bowl Gouge
Quality tool! Already owned the 1/2" model but wanted a bigger gouge for roughing out blanks. Very satisfied with choice.

My first quality turning tool
This bowl gouge was my first quality tool compared to the mix and match tools I got with a used lathe.did a lot of research and although people said they can be hard to use, I found it easy to get a good cut and scrape going. Great tool. Staying sharpe on walnut and mahogany. Ready to buy more in the same brand.
