Half inch cryo bowl gouge
This is my fifth hurricane cryo tool purchase. If you like perfection like I do, and you like saving money then I highly recommend this tool. The fit and finish is perfect. It looks great. It feels really good in your hand. It holds an edge for a long time. I rushed to buy these tools, because one day soon the wood turning store is going to realize " Hey, were selling these to cheap" and raise their prices. Shop around and you will agree. I bought a cryo skew from a competitor, because a rolled edge wasn't offered. I had to knock the handle off and turn a new one. Not so with the hurricane cryo. I use the standard tools for hogging the rough bowl. Then when it gets to the fun part I use the cryo. Thank you for great products, Jim

great steel. holds an edge as long as any other tool I have owned. The handle has a great feel and is properly weighted. Highly recommend.

5/8" M2 Cyro Bowl Gouge
Fantastic tool! Arrived quickly, packed well and was very sharp. I felt the price I paid was not only fair, but most attractive. I made a number of bowls with it before I had to touch up the sharpening. Steve is a really first class guy and anytime I need any info his answer comes by return email the same day. His videos are great and most informative. It a pleasure doing business with The Woodturning Store!

5/8 inch bowl;gouge
A bargain for what I paid (on sale) however not so much considering that it comes with a conventional shape and unsharpened. Excellent edge holding. Took a while on CBN 80 grit wheel to reshape to Ellsworth grind. At the regular price, it should be offered sharpened The Woodturning Store replied: Thanks for your feedback. This tool is shipped already sharpened with a standard grind. We do this intentionally so you can have the freedom to shape it the way you want. The Ellsworth grind is only one of many types of grinds. Most brands charge a premium to sell you a shape that you most likely will change over time anyway.

Hurricane M2 Cryo 5/8" Bowl gouge
I picked up this bowl gouge together with the smaller bowl gouge and I have the same thoughts for this tool. I can honestly say that this is far better that the other M2 tools I have. The cryo treatment which makes the edge last longer
