We would like to introduce you to the Hurricane HTC100 100mm 4 Jaw Self Centering Woodturning Chuck. This is an outstanding quality chuck that compares to some of the "famous names" on the market. It provides a superb grip on your woodturning projects such as bowls and platters. Many optional jaw sets are available (sold separately) for various woodturning applications. This is a 4" chuck which compares in size to the Oneway Talon, Novatech, etc chucks. It is a great size for Full-Size / Midi and Mini Lathes. Please note that this chuck is the smaller in size of the two Hurricane chucks. It is perfect if you only want one chuck and you switch between a mini lathe and a full size lathe . Hurricane Chuck
The Chuck works very well on my lathe. It’s solid and performs as expected. I do wish that there was a way to have a set screw in it to secure it to the arbor on my lathe. I would feel more secure when putting my lathe in reverse for sanding.

Hurricane HTC100
When I first put this on my lathe it wasn't running true - it had a wobble. I took the jaws off and the body seemed to be true, so I started fooling around with the jaws. I think that the one of the jaws was not seated properly and the screws were not tightened uniformly, so I corrected what I perceived and it seems alright now.

HTC100 chuck The best chuck I have ever used
Just bought my second HTC100 thread it on thread it on my lathe and away you go holds great and runs straight with no wobble what do ever. I bought my first HTC100 back in 2016 for my midi lathe and it was fantastic. I up graded to a full size lathe Nova 16/24 I purchased a nova 2 chuck , thinking nova lathe try a nova chuck since I was at the store already, what a mistake WOBBLE, WOBBLE, WOBBLE. When I call support your better off talking to the wall.

I have four of the HTC 100 chucks and I couldn't be happier. The grip on tenons is strong and tight. Good selection of jaws too
