SK100 4" Type H Gripper Jaws offer a good grip range for medium to large timber blanks. The gripping surfaces have serrations on both the internal and external walls. This design ensures a truly powerful grip on end grain and in green timber. The 15mm (9/16") jaw depth further adds to the holding power. The SK100 4" Gripper Jaws Type H are ideal for hollow form vessels or vases etc. As with all the Axminster chuck jaws, versatility comes as standard. The external grip is 70mm (2 3/4"), the main internal 57mm (2 1/4") with an additional inner internal option of 27mm (1 1/16"). All diameters are taken when the jaws form a true circle. The actual range is much greater; internal 51mm (2") to 67mm (2 5/8") and 24mm (15/16") to 40mm (1 9/16"), external 64mm (2 1/2") to 82mm (3 1/4"). At more extreme diameters, the grip is no longer a true circle. These jaws are suitable for the SK100 4" and SK114 4 1/2" chucks. Made from stainless steel to protect against corrosion.
