These versatile work holding jaws for smaller scale turnery have internal and external dovetails. The SK100 4" Dovetail Jaw Type F will close down onto a 19mm (3/4") dovetail spigot or expand into a 38mm (1 1/2") dovetailed recess. There is of course greater variation due to the chuck’s scroll mechanism. In reality, the internal range is 11mm (7/16") to 29mm (1 1/8") and the external 31mm (1 1/4") to 48mm (1 7/8").
