A very versatile SK114 4 1/2" jaw set; originally designed for the SK114 4 1/2" chuck but is equally suitable for use on the SK100. Initially named Piranha jaws, due to their incredible ‘bite’ they expand into an 85mm (3 3/8") recess or contract onto a 62mm (2 7/16") spigot. The 40mm (1 9/16") deep jaw has a series of ridges giving the jaw immense holding power. These given dimensions are when the jaws form a true circle and offer the best grip. However, the amount of movement available offers a range of 57mm (2 1/4") to 72mm (2 13/16") internal and 77mm (3") to 93mm (3 11/16") external. These jaws are an excellent choice for hollow forms or turning unseasoned timber. Made from stainless steel to protect against corrosion.
