Product Description
Axminster Woodturning have recreated some of our most popular jaws in a smaller size to accommodate the Discovery GK88 chuck. The Axminster Woodturning GK88 O'Donnell Dovetail Jaws feature an extended nose to allow greater access around a turning project. These jaws offer three gripping options. The nose has external and internal dovetails, 50mm and 37mm respectively. In addition, the deep central bore grips a 35mm diameter spigot, offering rock solid work holding when turning goblets and similar items. These diameters are taken with the jaws at a true circle. However, the chuck allows a wide range of movement to accomodate any deviation. Potentially the internal range is 35mm to 53mm, the external 45mm to 66mm and the spigot 30mm to 51mm. These jaws are designed to fit the GK88 chuck and will simply bolt onto the Accessory Mounting Jaws. All made entirely in our manufacturing facility in Axminster, UK. Please note: the Axminster Woodturning Discovery GK88 range of jaws are compatible with the Discovery GK100 and SK100 Chucks. They are also compatible with the Evolution SK114 Chuck, providing the GK88 Mounting Jaws are used.
