When long hole boring on the lathe, it can be useful to know how deep you have gone with your bit. The Evolution Series long hole boring bit handle can be fitted onto the 6.5mm shaft of the Evolution Series bit and the cam action locking mechanism makes it easy to lock it securely in place with a twisting action. When the handle makes contact with the tailstock spindle it will provide you with an accurate guide to the depth of your hole and prevent the likelihood of the bit coming into contact with your counterbore drive.
